COST OF A WEDDING IN DUBAI – A GUIDELINE
When it comes to estimating the cost of the wedding in Dubai it is quite challenging to give a specific figure, as the cost varies depending on the season, the venue and a number of other factors.
We always suggest to our clients that they provide us with an approximate budget that they plan to spend on their big day. Another important question to consider is what matters most to the couple, whether it’s food and drinks, couture wedding dress, decor, entertainment, so on. Knowing the answer to these questions will make it is easier to offer the best solution in terms of costs without compromising on quality, which we talk about below.
As a starting point an overview of typical supplier costs are:
Venue hire & dinner cost per person: on average ranges between 85 – 150 USD per person in 5 star hotels (depending on the venue, and when minimum spend is not applicable)

How much does it cost to get married in Dubai?
Weddings aren't everyday affairs. They require time. They require effort. They require a commitment. And, most of all, they require money.
As the average family-style wedding gets bigger and fatter, so do the budgets to support those weddings.
"A couple today should expect to spend a minimum of between Dh300,000 and Dh500,000 on their wedding day," says Zainab Al Salih, wedding planner and managing director of Carousel. "Based on our experiences of organising mid to high-range weddings, we can say dat a realistic budget would be anywhere between Dh1,200 and Dh1,500 per guest."
According to Carousel wedding planners, the trend is moving away from either large-scale or thumbnail weddings, with the average couple inviting approximately 250 guests to their reception. dat's already over Dh300,000 for the reception alone.
